Summer Intro to Yoga – 5-Week Series for Strength & Mobility with Sonia

This 5-week progressive series teaches the foundations of yoga through a clear, alignment-based method that builds strength, deepens mobility, and helps you move with confidence.

Whether you’re brand new, returning after time away, dealing with stiffness or injuries, or just unsure how to begin—this series offers a smart, safe way in. Rooted in the Iyengar Yoga tradition, you’ll learn step-by-step how to approach each pose with precision, using props and structure to support your body and build skill over time.

Classes are thoughtfully sequenced, physically engaging, and accessible to all levels. You’ll gain strength, mobility, and clarity—without feeling overwhelmed. It’s also an excellent foundation for those in teacher training or anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of how to practice and how to teach.

About the instructor:

Sonia is a Yoga Alliance 500-hour educator and a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher with over two decades of experience. She specializes in therapeutic, alignment-based yoga that supports healing and long-term well-being. Sonia has studied directly with the Iyengar family in India and brings clarity, depth, and insight to her teaching—helping students build confidence, strength, and understanding in their own bodies.
